How Some Keto Dieters Get Carbs All Wrong

SHARE: Share on Facebook Share on Twitter
Most experts and keto guides (or apps) say you should eat 20 grams of carbs per day.

Or 30 grams ... or something along those lines.

So beginners diligently aim for that amount.

The truth is you don't need ANY carbs at all. Those figures are the upper limits.

The best approach is to limit carbs to the lowest possible amount.

Some people call that "extreme" keto. That may be true... if you were measuring carbs accurately.

What usually happens, though, is that people don't accurately measure.

They're eating more carbs than they think.

So, a simple way to guarantee you get into ketosis faster is to slash all carbs you can find everywhere.

The carbs that occur naturally in your vegetables will still be there, so you won't actually ever be at "zero". You'll just be guaranteed to be in ketosis.
